Cogitar Software provides the following information to give you an idea of some fonts that are available. Font selection is a difficult matter, some clients have there own font catalogues that they want to use, which whilst it is possible in the printed media is very difficult on the Internet. An example is - if you take a magazine from the United Kingdom and go to Greece, when you open that magazine, the advert is going to look the same.
If you view a website produced in the United kingdom on a computer in Greece, it may well not display as intended – as the local computer might not have the same font sets as the British computer – e.g. the Pound Sterling symbol £.
We work hard to design sites that will cross the boundaries of the Internet with little difficulty. Another issue with fonts is legibility; on printed-paper and signage certain fonts work well. When you place the fonts on the Internet and have to view them through a screen they may became illegible.
Working with you the client is paramount to get a result that your customers can use and above all make potential customers interested!
